My girlfriend's 4 year old daughter was playing a game on the computer when a woman's voice began giving directions on how to play. This is a recording of the raging battle that ensued. I used my olympus ws-310m for this recording.
It's a sound i got from a lost recovered wav file. It was a 24-bit file but i have imported it as a 16-bit one, the ruseulting sound is an interenstin non-uniform noise with a modulation to it. Could be a neat sound for broken electronics.
I was playing about in absynth and massive and with some samples this evening. Came up with this nice atmosphere. It made me think of a dark / menacing computer room somewhere in the future.
A 7200 rpm western digital hard drive spins up, idles for about 15 seconds and shuts off. Nice motor noises along with the spin up. Recorded using a zoom h1n recorder very close to the hard drive. Noise reduction and cuts made using audacity.
Beep sound, made by a cooker. Sound recorded with a zoom h4n pro. Bip sonore, produit par une plaque de cuisson. Son enregistré avec un zoom h4n pro. My sounds are licensed under the creative commons 0 license but it would be a pleasure for me to hear your work so doesn’t hesitate to comment or to send me a message with your work :).
S short piece i made ages ago using harmor in fl studio. I was experimenting without beats and tried to make an electronic landscape; what it would be like living in a piece of wire. Use at your discretion. Let me know if you like the sound. -cb.
Sounds of esosvm, a virtual machine i wrote to run a simulation called endless sea of stars. These sounds accompany system events and auditorily describe system states.
